The latest from the Fall 2011 assortment of Axion is here, with the much anticipated release of the Olympus featuring a suede Navy upperwith a gumsole. The sneaker features upgraded tech in the insole, check out the photos after the jump.

^^^ the first and most obvious thing wrong with these joints are they're not Nike. 2nd they really don't look that fresh. I'm sorry they're not fresh at all. Not even in a reebok, or adidas since. that logo on the side needs to be scaled down or just straight up rethought. I like different shit, but to me these are just shit. I'm just saying.......

the only thing is too many stitching on the front, if make the front toe one piece of suede, they are great for skate...but over all a good skate shoes look...

finally some fat(ish) skate shoes and none of this slim crap. one day they'll come back....i hope....depending on how much these are, I'd skate em for sure because Axion was one the 90s skate shoe brands and should deserve some respect...rip eS, and fuck the mainstreaming of skating.....honestly to me it became out of control around 05/06, and then in 06 when P-Rod really took off and the Dew Tour started, that really killed it for me.

Hopefully on day, everything will go back to the way it was in 04, where great skaters still skated when they were old as hell and when there were few posers skating around, and fuck "big" companies trying to muscle their way into the industry; when they do that, they drive "true" brands like eS out of the market and that is what truly saddens me about modern skating.
