Followers of Omar Salarzar's Twitter feed will have no doubt just seen his tweet about what should be a very interesting collaboration: Nike SB and Levi's - "Just now leaving Portland from a Nike meeting 4 our LEVI'S & NIKE project!!! Get ready for the best jeans to SK8 in!"
Levi's has already launched a Streetwear line in Europe, created specifically for skateboarders. The jeans feature several elements to make them durable enough to skate in, such as rubber-coated hems to reduce wear at the heel and stretch fabrics. It would probably be safe to assume that these will also be used on the Nike SB collaboration, possibly along with Nike technologies like Dry-Fit.
