Gucci Dunk Releasing in 2009

Originally a part of the team manager series, the Gucci's were designed by the people at Girl skateboards. Since Girl is part of Crailtap, which also includes Lakai, their shoemaking buddies weren't too happy that their woodmaking friends would do a collabo with a company that also sells limited skateshoes. ok these will released as $90-$100 and the prices on FCNY will drop for the sample. If there is a sample and then it is released the samples are clearly worht just as much as regular, becuase people dont buy based on tags, and all you hypebeasts who say you will buy more than one pair, you are clearly retarded.

Hey folks,
This is Nick from Diamond Supply Co.
I just thought I would brief you guys on the concept behind the shoes and how they came about.
Sam Smyth from Girl Skateboards designed these back in '05 and I helped him a little with the materials. These were designed the same day as the Diamond "Tiffany" Dunks and were suppose to say Resn on the tongue, which was what Sam used to write when he was in the IBC tagging crew in SF. Green for the weed, red for fire and black for the resn. Gucci was just the nickname for the shoes but they were really going to be named Resn SB just as Tiffany's are really named Diamond SB. True Story.

and i'm sure you've already gotten tons of compliments on the diamond dunks, but my pair just came today (i know, i'm a few years late to the party) and i have to say they are drop-dead gorgeous.

and not to be a designer whore, but i think these and the tweeds win the award for nicest SB dunk high-tops, in my opinion.
