V-Rod (Vulc-Rod) Paul Rodriguez

Dropping in the Spring 2011 season we have a new iteration of the P-Rod Series, introducing the V-Rod. This upcoming series will be one of the Nike SB lines that will be making into select Zumiez and mall retailers making them more accessible than the rest of the SB Line. Check out the other colors in the line below, what do you think?

i agree with red nukka 100%, plus why release them in malls and make them more accessible, the point of sb is to be limited only in SB accounts....they arent everyday kicks...that is one of the big differences between sbs and grs, sbs are exclusive...why change that? zumiez is a poser store and didnt nike sb come out with a campaign "suport your local" this completely goes against that....nike sb is really on something else lately, keep it the same and dont mess up sbs worse than u already have

It's good to hear other people are pissed about the mall thing. My last few anti-mall comments had morons scolding me. P-Rod along w/ Nike have tarnished his image and leagued him with Sheckler due to his money and fame hunt. All the new P-Rod shit is embarrassing. He should be embarrassed and take a serious look at what is going on. Nike/P-Rod stabbed a lot of shops in the back who supported the swoosh, and continue to do so ever so quietly.

Nike has the support your local campaign releasing sb's at mall chains is the opposite of that. Vulc is used on more than just jano's look at many shoes through out the skate industry its not just prod ripping off janoski its him putting a vulc sole on a shoe. Which is much better for skating. Vans has been doing vulc for ages. Not the best looking shoe, id buy a pair of vans for 40 for the same look.

I don't understand the difference of Nike SB in a mall or a stand alone skate shop.... All these Nikes come from the same sweat shop factory so how are they any less of a shoe then the ones sold at Industrial, Zumiez..... I think the ones that talk mad shit are the once that are most likely to buy them because they are trying to convince their peers not to buy them....It's kinda like being homophobic.. One second a guy say "fuck that faggot" then 10min later thier jacking off to the most hardcore ass pounding vid on the internet.

@gavin R. Virgil there is a big difference fag. As a skater I support my local skateshop and all skateshops. But when you sell skateable products you are taking away money from people who are truely passionate about skating and giving to money hungry sharks. I hate it when I see people who don't skate wearing skate shoes. I loved that is was always DC though and never my Nike SB's. This is way to commercial and mainstream. Also, society will never appreciate it, nor do they deserve to wear SBs...

The shoe itself won't look good on people with big feet (like me) which is a bummer. P-Rod 1's were the best looking. Even the Janoski's don't look good on my feet (but I still wear 'um)
