Nike SB wins King of the Road

This just in: The Nike SB team consisting of Eric Koston, Cory Kennedy, Ishod Wair, Grant Taylor and Justin Brock has won Thrasher's King of the Road, beating etnies, Circa and CONS. Cory snagged the MVP honors as well. The trip will be documented in Thrasher Magazine and we're pretty sure there will be a DVD as well. More info, images and video will surface soon, we'll keep you posted.

Just recently someone was debating that the NSB team is weak now which struck me as insane. This win mixed w/ O'Neil's performance at Street league, PRod at Tampa Pro, and Koston being Koston at everything, is complete validation that they are top of the pops.

Brian Anderson, Staba, Koston, Mountain, Salazar, Janoski, O'Neil? These are not douche bag guys, these are stalwart type guys. Sure PRod is the ARod of skateboarding but their team is made up of mostly amazing down to earth-good to skateboarding type guys.
