
Flatspot has received delivery of March’s general release Nike SB shoes. On sale now are the Dunk High Pro SB in medium grey/varsity red, Zoom Bruin SB in green leaf/white, Brian Anderson’s Dunk Low Premium in MUNI-inspired dark chocolate/silver, Zoom Classic SB in boulder/classic purple/light brown and Blazer SB in varsity red/black/white.
All these – and the debut of the much-anticipated Omar Salazar signature model – will be hitting the shelves in your local skate store within the next few weeks. The Dunk High and Bruin are in-store-only releases.

The inspiration for the shoes are the Tim Burton film, Edward Scissorhands. The pair features a striking portrait of Edward on the outside, with the scars literally cut into his flesh. The shoes are accented with an added belt buckle in the front and gold grommets in the lace holes to play on his leathery custom-made body. There is a yellow butterfly on the tongue tag, shown in many of the movie posters, which represents his delicate innocence, counter balanced by the feature of the customs, his cracked mirror scissorhands over his face and on the swoosh which are hard and sharp. The insoles and box are covered in plastic grass, which is trimmed to shimmering perfection, just as Edward cuts all the shrubs in the perfectly plastic town that eventually rejects him.

While a good few wait for the Nike SB Gucci Dunk to make its debut, our comrades over at hypebeast hit us off pictures of a Nike Dunk inspirationed from Gucci, with a ostrich-infused leather design boasting forest green, red, and black uppers atop white midsoles and gum bottoms. A release is now underway at most Nike Sportswear retailers.

Here is a look at the production model of the upcoming Nike Lakers Dunk colorway in comparison to the Lakers SB Dunk that The Shoe Game reported a first. These non-SB dunks are set to release in 2010.
