After pictures surface last week of an updated version of 2005's Nike SB collaboration with London's Slam City Skates – the 'Slam Dunk', the official line on availablitly has been announced. Only 25 pairs have been produced to celebrate the opening of the store's second branch in east London last Saturday (so it's not the beginning of a flood of retroed Dunk SB colourways).

London's Slam City Skates has slashed the prices on a large selection of its Nike SB range. The discounts apply to both general-release and instore-only shoes. You can check out which cut-price shoes are available online here, or give the shop a call for info on the more exclusive bargains.

The Edition launches next week and to celebrate, Grey and Nike SB are putting on several events and exhibitions around the UK.

If you liked what you saw in our recent report of Nike SB's takeover of The Pool, you now have one more chance to skate it. Slam City Skates has got together with Nike SB to open the 6.0 BMX park in the old Dagenham swimming pool in east London to skateboarders again on Wednesday 8th June 2011, from 7pm-10pm.   Music will be provided by Slam City DJs and a live performance from Wonk Unit.
