Apple entertains footwear market with "Smart Shoe" Patent

A unique patent was discovered last week from Apple thats let you know when your sneakers need to be replaced by embedding there sensor into your shoe. It's certainly an interesting discovery being their own previous collaboration with Nike and it's plus technology. Basically, Apple feels as shoe's support decrease it reduces the effectiveness of its protection. When it's reaches it's last leg a shoe may not provide enough support and can in some cases actually cause damage to your feet.

In some case they feel the level wear may not be apparent to the you, the user could benefit from a sensor and alarm system to preventing injury.

Just what everyone needs, a sensor that tells you when to replace your emericas!

I wouldve expect this from anyone else, but Mr McIntosh.
