That's cause most companies were trying to make shoes look diff, not all those vulk soled garbage that all look the same. DC was first then all companies followed, until the D3 killed the tech shoe look IMO. Now all kicks look the same across alll companies, just some flimsy, vulk garbage.

vulc shoes are actually pretty good. I wouldn't say they're the best shoe construction cause everyone knows they arent. They are really grippy and always skate good, there isn't really a "bad" vulcanized shoe because they all fall apart, rip, whatever in the same relative amount of time, they just hurt your feet like a motherfucker if youre into jumping down shit.

the only good vulc shoes i've ever had were the harbors and blazers.they dont hurt my feet and feel alot more stable . shitty volc shoes like reynolds 3's can give you tendonitis and that's really painful.

Sorry but alot of these old skate shoes look like shit, especially the es's. the new es shoes like the pure's and theorys are whats good
Even adidas is starting to make vulcanized shoes - i witnessed dennis busenitz wearing them - all denim and shit reel sick
Someone post up a pair of old Vans or Jordan ones - those are true classics
