CLOSER LOOK AT THE NIKE SB BASS MIDS - 2008 RELEASE

Closer Look at the Nike SB Bass Mids - 2008 Release Nike SB would be releasing new sneakers that are inspired by classic Guitars. As the name of this sneaker suggests, this shoe was inspired by the Bass guitar. The store called 242 has stock of these shoes. This guitar stood out from other guitars because of its brighter and richer tone. The toe box is silver-grey and represents the knobs and metallic portion of the bass. Running down the length of the shoe, the shoe lace would represent the guitar strings. There is a pattern of bullet holes spraying out from the center of the toe box. The brown represents the wood part of the guitar. At the heel, the black portion of the backstab has been given a different appearance with specks of pink. The inner sole has a beige background with a graphic pattern in white. The bottom most sole of the shoe is grey and it has some neat treads. There is a shoe strap at the top of the column of shoe laces. This resembles the guitar’s strap that is worn across the shoulder. Info via some_skateboarder

    “store called 242″
Can you be a little more obtuse? Why not just tell us where the store is? Does it have to be a frigging scavenger hunt to find every pair of kicks that comes out? Stop screwing us around and just tell us where to buy them!

damn dude. deep breath, ok have you tried google. i’m sure it would take care of you. If that is too hard the thread on hypebeast about these has a link to 242′s website

Its not bad but its not good. I like when Nike tries to style a shoe after something else, but sometiems they miss it. Its looking like this might be one of those times. The Marshal Amps and the Gibson models were pretty hot. But, I think they could have done alot better with a Fender model shoe, alot better then this.

    gibsonman246

they’re pushing it too far with this music line. this and the marshalls look nothing like what they’re so supposed to be. the gibson case was very good, but i think all these need is the brand name on it. like a fender logo on this would be nice

[...] Here’s a very unique Nike SB – The Nike SB Fender Bass Mids. This shoe, as the name might suggest, gets its motivation from the Fender bass guitar. This is a very simple, nice design with colors that are very easy on the eye. The colors of choice for this Nike SB Mid are brown, beige, and silver-gray. Via NikeSB.org. [...]

    supamanNYc

these seem wack in pictures but are hot in person. The swoosh is semi reflective so they pop when it gets dark
copped ‘em today for 80 bucks at supreme

    SneakerFace

got these from ccs.com for $60 with free shipping, they accidentally put them on sale when they first released em, now back to $90. silver swoosh is pretty ill, jeans cover up that crappy paint splatter in the back.

    kikko

lol same here. ccs, i love you. i guess the color way is odd, but thats not really a bad thing to me at least.

    Kiwi

I have them and they look delicious on my feet. Usually kicks look blah in photographs. Try going to the store and check some kicks out for yourself. ;]
