I like Family Guy and I like Nike SB, but I don’t like these shoes. I mean, maybe if they toned it down with the Quagmire shirt pattern and only had it on the wings of the shoe, or just the swoosh, or something. I’m just throwing out whatever I can as to how these could look better. Maybe some red lace pictures?

You know those are flowers on quagmires shirt, and the shoe is clearly stars, so I think it might be based off of something else. Or maybe thats Nike just trying not to get the shoe cancelled again.

I like them, but I’ve been looking all around to find what exact materials were used to construct them, and I’m just not finding that info. I miss the days when sb’s weren’t just about dope colorways and the designers used to actually go in with different textiles like the “bloody sunday’s” for example. These r dope, but I think just going regular leather & suede doesn’t do the concept any justice. On quagmire’s shirt, the pattern could easily be interpreted as stars or flowers, but that’s trivial; they coulda used some type of material, sans canvas, to represent the red in the shirt and then embroidered the stars or flowers (whatever they are). Or they coulda did the tongue in the shirt pattern with the white laces, or maybe even the swoosh. Maybe the laces coulda been red with the star/ flower things, lol. The navy blue suede is cool on the upper, but the front coulda been like, dark denim material with the red, yellow, or red & yellow stitching. I don’t know, just something crazy! Some gum soles (which they’ve been doing less and less over @ nsb & I HATE it!!!), wooooooooh! That shit woulda been hot. I hope those dudes read the comments on boards like this…

copped them today. look better in person. f^%k all the fam guy hype. decent shoe, decent material and the canvas toe means no cracks, so had to drop it in the collection. if you’re skeptical check ‘em out in person, you might have a change of heart
