Top London skate store Slam City has always had a good relationship with Nike SB, having previously collaborated with the company twice. Once on the Dunk Low SB that I’m sure needs no introduction, then again to host a pop-up store in London’s NikeTown to promote the release of Nothing But The Truth and supposedly clear out all those pesky unsold deadstock kicks that were cluttering up the European warehouses.
Crooked Tongues has revealed that part one of the latest three-tiered project kicks off this Saturday (03.14.09). The basement is being kitted out as a dedicated Nike SB store, decorated with photography by Percy Dean, Jerome Campbell, Henry Kingsford and Sam Ashley. The launch will also be marked with the release of the Brooklyn Projects Dunk Low.
The second part of the project is set for May, with the third being unveiled in July. Very, very intriguing. Watch this space for updates.
