To celebrate the release of Paul Rodriguez’s third shoe, Nike SB has produced a new commercial titled “Today Was a Good Day” which will air during NBC’s national broadcast of the Maloof Money Cup, this Sunday, at 11am PST/2pm EST. Inspired by the 1993 hip-hop classic “It was a Good Day”, the commercial shows Paul’s version of what a perfect day in LA looks like.
In addition to the commercial, there will also be a web exclusive extended version of “Today Was a Good Day” that stars Paul with some special friends. This version premiers on 7/31/09 at: http://www.nike.com/nikeskateboarding/paulrodriguezIII/
The micro-site will also feature extra content from the commercial shoot and information on the Zoom Air Paul Rodriguez III, which will be available at Nike SB dealers worldwide on 8/08/09.
