Born in 1986. Graduated from the University of California, Irvine in the summer of 2008. 22 years sober. I jumped into adult life and currently work a boring 8-5 job. Not something I recommend so quickly after college, but it’s nice to actually make money on your own. To keep me sane, non-shoe-related hobbies include video games and photography. Xbox 360s and Nikons all day. Hip-Hop dance is my other love. I’ll bust freestyles all day in my room, but ask me to get up on stage or in front of people and I’ll act like I gots three left feet.
To summarize my life in terms of shoes and this site: I was a basketball fanatic growing up and loved the sneakers that they wore. But I never had the money to spend on them and knew better than to bug my parents to buy them for me. This continued up until I got my first part time job in college, and that’s where it went all downhill. I spied the Hunters for cheap on ebay and just thought the concept, design, and use of materials were so amazing. My addictive personality caused me to do all types of research on sneakers, opening up even more doors. This was around the time of NSB’s 2nd-coming, and I lurked for a bit because I didn’t want shoes to take over my life. That didn’t last. After joining at my brother’s discretion, I just kept coming back for more due to the great community that started it all. And I like to think that the knowledge I learned here is the reason why I’ve never owned a fake pair of kicks.
Research and OCD led me to helping out with legit checks (though I’ve lost my touch with the newer SBs) and I thinks being related to Jomo is what really got me promoted. Thanks guy. Since I believe there are many more gurus in terms of Dunks and SBs, I like to stick to the smaller areas of the forum and impart knowledge in the surrounding cultures of Nike, while keeping douchebags and spammers in check. Unfortunately I just don’t have the time to help out as much as I’d like to what with having a real life. However, if you’re ever in need or just want discuss life, feel free to drop me a line.
