Revive Customs has produced these for Mike Cole of Solefood NYC. He is a great friend of RC that has helped them out a lot in the past. Cole is an Air Jordan connoisseur who will be a great contribution to the footwear industry in the future.
As glimpsed in drawing form in the then-speculative Jordan skate shoe thread in the forum, the PHYL is the lastest non-basket ball offering from Jordan Brand. However, there is no evidence that this is the forthcoming Jordan Flipside skate shoe. The differing names, if correct, indicate that it probably isn’t.
Jumpman logo and cement (or elephant or crackle or whatever) print are present as expected on the two colourways apparently inspired by the AJ III.
Dropping tomorrow (Saturday, March 15th) at Ubiq in Philadelphia for $85.
Our member artfulJEDI posted this rumor early October 07 and now it’s finally confirmed. Jordan Brand footwear director Gentry Humphrey talks about the Jordan Flipside, a skateshoe that’s inspired by the Jordan III and developed with the advice of several skaters, including Stevie Williams (death of DGK by RBK rumor confirmed?) Anyway, check it out for yourself.
The Jordan brand is obviously a celebration of the man in 23’s basketball career and his influence on the sport. Now a pack is being released, on March 29th according to early rumours, to recognise the big man’s (ill advised?) venture into Baseball. Two versions of the Air Jordan 1 Retro will make up the pack based on the Chicago White Sox/Birmingham Barons (depending on which report you read).
Word is that they will be a Quickstrike release, priced around $100.
