Atlas have just received their March 2010 Nike SB shipment. Many standouts are the Brian Anderson “MUNI” inspired dunk low premium SB and the pine leaf bruin. On sale now are the Dunk High Pro SB in medium grey/varsity red, Zoom Bruin SB in green leaf/white, Brian Anderson’s Dunk Low Premium in MUNI-inspired dark chocolate/silver, Zoom Classic SB in boulder/classic purple/light brown and Blazer SB in varsity red/black/white.

All these – and the debut of the much-anticipated Omar Salazar signature model – will be hitting the shelves in your local skate store within the next few weeks. The Dunk High and Bruin are in-store-only releases.

More information has surfaced about the Dunk Low Premium SB, previously referred to in the blogosphere as the ‘Chirping Bird’ Dunk. The shoe was pictured (albeit momentarily) on the February release page of the Nike SB website, with the colourway attributed to Larry Perkins.

Atlas Skateboard Store located at 209 2nd Ave.San Mateo, CA 94401. Is having their winter sale starting on Friday the 12th and ends on Sunday the 21st. Insane amount of gear and Nike SB’s!!!!!!!!!!!

Just in time for Christmas, the first batch of SBs from the next decade have gone on sale at Flatspot. Simple colours are certainly the focus for the month. There’s a black/white Dunk Mid Pro, khaki/boulder leather Janoski, black/metallic platinum P-Rod III and obsidian/varsity red Bruin SB.

Making a welcome return are the black/white Dunk High Pro and black/white Bruin. They are the first shoes to drop from the Spring retail season’s ‘Basics’ range, which will be available for stores to order at any point between January and March.

There are also two pairs that weren’t on the GR catalogue page for January – the green swooshless Blazer SB, with subtle ‘razzle’ red accents, and deep burgundy, all-leather Classic High.

A skate shoe that makes bird noises when the tongue is pressed? Really? Yes, really. The so-called ‘Chirping Bird’ Nike Dunk Low Pro SB, as revealed in a video by At The Buzzer sneaker consignment shop, is set for a February ‘quickstrike’/special release.

However, it’s not all good news (although that may be a matter of opinion), due to issues of importation, only the US release of the shoe will feature the chirping tongue. But, with an innovative use of materials – denim, patent leather and a furry liner – and great colours – black upper with white/red midsole/outsole, there’s definitely still reason to keep your eye on your local skate shop for this release.

For those of you who can’t wait, Arktz is offering preorders on pairs now. But, since it’s a Japanese website, it might be worthing contacting them to find out whether the shoe chirps or not.

A picture of a Dunk High SB, supposedly slated for a Spring or Summer 2010, release has appeared on Colmilludo. The simple white body with black swoosh and midsole are offset with brightly coloured wool.
