There might be well over a week of June left but, true to form, the first batch of July’s SB general release shoes have arrived at UK retailers. Save for the Blazer, which comes in a familiar shade of green, simplicity is the key with the shoes on offer. The Bruin SB makes its first non-Supreme appearance in black/white and the Dunk Low matches the colourway. A third Janoski lightens things up in reed/stone.

Here is a look at another Holiday 09 Release, the team red/yellow ochre Blazer SB, the colorway resembles USC or the University of Southern California. These are releasing in November, which will introduce the Dark Chocolate Mid SB, and the Red Zoom Bruins then as well. It’s cousin the Aquamarine / Electroline will release the month prior in October.

Following on from Lance Mountain’s offerings last year in the forms of the Blazer Elite and Premium designed with Craig Stecyk, Nike SB is continuing it’s run of Blazers created with input from the living legends of skateboarding.

This time it’s original Alva team rider Stevie ‘Dread’ Snyder. Mr Dread took inspiration from his native Chicago for the colourway and tongue tag and will host the official launch party in the city at Uprise Skateboards, a store he is closely associated with, on February 28th. The Blazers will hit other stores in mid-March.

To celebrate the October release of Lance Mountain and Craig Stecyk’s Blazer SB, Nike SB is giving away a promotional book, ‘Roadsigns’. largely comprising photos of Craig and Lance taken in LA and Salton Sea, California, the book also includes art and words from the pair, as well as an introduction by Kevin Imamura.

For those in London, the book is available from Slam City Skates (they did a shoe a few years ago, some of you might remember it). There is also a new window display and exhibition downstairs made up of artwork by Lance and Craig.

As they were featured in the Holiday ‘08 catalogue, the shoes should be available from your local skateshop, so they might also know where to get hold of a copy of the book. Also mentioned is a film on Nikeskateboarding.com, so look out for that one when it’s uploaded.
