Just in time for January Nike SB brings you the Bangin Dunk High. The sneakers which seems to be inspired by the 30 second segments that features a pro skater on the berrics, would only make sense since Eric Koston, co-founder of the berrics jumped on the swoosh last year. When Nike SB asked Eric what he wanted to do for his first ad, he brought up the shoe box campaign Nike SB ran a few years back when SB welcomed Paul Rodriguez, Brian Anderson, Wieger and Dan Murphy to the team. After giving him the thumbs up, he came back three weeks later with three skate photos and we got busy building the ads. With the print ads now showing up in the mags, Nike SB felt the timing was perfect to sit down with Eric and talk all things sneakers, including some of the projects Eric has been working on since he joined Nike SB last June. Eric Koston has certainly been busy since his arrival in the Nike SB stable. Not only has he apparently provided colours for a forthcoming Dunk Low SB and teased the blogosphere by flashing a potential Dunk High, he’s also been beavering away on a capsule collection for Oakley.
Hypebeast spoke to Mr Koston about the Oakley range, the skateboarding scene in Japan and his affinity for Air Jordans and other sneakers.

The event showcases an array of vendors and upcoming products for skateboarding set to hit retail in the next few months. With the first showing of Paul Rodriguez Today Was A Good Day we saw a 60 second advertisement of what was to be shown at the Maloof Money Cup. Now Nike SB has unlocked a ton of behind the scenes footage, featuring Eric Koston, Kobe Bryant, and Theotis Beasley.

According to Kostons twitter account, as he put “All your questions have been answered…”. Looking forward to seeing K1’s come to life through Nike.

Felix Arguelles recently dropped this pic on his twitter account. Since recently announcing Koston would drop from Lakai there has been speculation on to where he may be heading. From eS to Lakai all Koston sneakers are well respected amongst skaters and collectors alike, if he is with Nike a Koston SB is inevitable.
