To celebrate the forthcoming release of the film version of Maurice Sendak’s seminal children’s book ‘Where The Wild Things Are’, Girl Skateboard Company is releasing a range of skate decks featuring different characters from the book in their live-action incarnations.
It’s no surprise that Girl is playing a part in the promotion of the movie, albeit it their own way, since it is being directed by co-owner Spike Jonze. Jonze has played a significant part in recent Girl DVDs, co-directing ‘Yeah Right!’, for example.
The decks will be limited releases but there is no info yet on the date of their arrival, save for “soon”.
