The mobile version of Made for Skate is now available for the iPod and iPhone. The iMFS application is based on the world largest collection of skateboarding footwear featuring the stories behind the footwear that carried skateboarding through its colorful history.

Probably one of the most underrated releases in the SB line these past months have been the Made for Skate blazer, based off of the Hobie 1979 High Top. Only 24 pairs were released. Here are pics from San Francisco stop of the tour.

The latest issue of international fashion glossy Streetwear Today contains an article on Made For Skate, the exhibtion of skate shoes through the ages. The footwear retrospective was established in Stuttgart by skateboarders Jürgen Blümlein and Daniel Schmid and, backed by Nike SB, has been touring Europe, most recently in Amsterdam. The article comprises an interview with Blümein and Schmid about why they set up the exhibition and the process that went into doing so.

The limited 24 Pair made for skate has become one of the more sought out releases. Expect prices to be quite insane. They are based off of 1979 Hobie Skate Shoe, pictured after the jump... Discuss on the boards

To celebrate the launch of the Made For Skate book the Made For Skate expo will set foot in Amsterdam between November 30th and January 4th. Alongside the expo there will be a Nike SB pop-up store. Alongside TOMS Ben-G will run the store, and Ben-G's owner Benny gave this little bit of info on his Highsnobiety blog: "What i can tell is that Nike SB is releasing a very limited edition Made for Skate Blazer (only 24 pairs will be for sale only at the Pop Up Store).
