To promote the release of the Omar Salazar pro model, Nike SB has launched the Outer Space mini-site.
The site features a look at upcoming colourways of the shoe, an explanation of the technology used, wallpaper downloads and photos and a video of Omar sessioning a skate park kitted out to look like the inside of a space shuttle.

B Street Skatepark will be hosting a Demo for Omar Salazar’s SB release on March 7th, in Sacramento. A majority of the SB Team will be there, including Omar, Paul Rodriguez, Daryl Angel, Stefan Janoski, Brian Anderson, Justin Brock, Grant Taylor, Elissa Steamer, David Clark, and Brad Staba.

As mentioned in the Spring 2010 collection video, Nike SB has also released a video about Omar Salazar’s pro model, dropping in March 2010. It features Omar and James Arizumi explaining the inspiration and design of the shoe, including the use of flywire and TPU rubber under the suede toe cap. With such innovative design features – it also boasts removable tongue padding and the zoom air bag integrated into the sole – this promises to be a great skate shoe.

Omar Salazar’s introduction in to the line of Nike’s current roster Pro Model SB’s is set for release in March 2010. The picture above is what they look like in person when Salazar was at Back to the Berg. We saw pictures surface late in April, we also now have a shot of a different colorway and picture of the sneakers sole after the jump.
