NIKE SB DUNKS

Skate Mental, the company owned by another Nike SB Team rider Brad Staba has released Shane O'Neills pro deck over on their shop. You may remember Skate Mental this past winter with their line of Nike SB product line releases.

Since the collection and site were both masterminded by the Skate Mental majordomo himself Brad Staba, we figured it best if he explained it:

When making the Nike SB/Skate Mental apparel, the collection took on this outdoor vibe. So when it was time to do the ads I figured we could go somewhere and camp and relax—use the stuff how it was intended.

The marketing heads at Nike SB certainly like to get creative when it comes to promotional material for new releases, and this month's Nike SM collaboration line with Skate Mental is no exception. Carrying on the camping theme of the backpack/blanket, this sleeping bag, complete with sleeves and a hood, was sent out to a select, lucky few (and that really means a few), including Chris Ray from Transworld Skateboarding, who posted the pic on his blog.

Here is a look at the Skate Mental / Nike Skateboarding / Atlas Skateshop release in San Mateo, California on the 28th of November. Displaying releases that are dropping this month December 2009, the shop was packed with friends and family, including an appearance by Nike SB Pros Brian Anderson and Stefan Janoski.

Flatspot has received its delivery of the Nike SM 3-in-1 jacket. Part of the collaboration line between Nike SB and Skate Mental, the jacket has a cotton outer and removable inner quilted jacket. It also comes with a selection of Skate Mental logo patches to customise it.

At the beginning of the month we previewed some of the GR Nike SB clothing and footwear releases set for December. A large number of the pieces were from Nike SM, the Nike SB collaboration capsule collection with Skate Mental. Along with the Dunk High Premium, 3-in-1 jacket, t-shirts and hockey jersey is the techno blue/black backpack.

CCS has put up some of the shoes and clothing from the December catalogue releases for pre-order on its site. The site also has close-up images of the products, including the Skate Mental 3-in-1 jacket, hockey jersey and Dunk High Premium, perf-swoosh Bruin, black suede Janoski and the all-new Classic High.

Here is a look at another collaboration with Nike SB and Todd Bratrud, who created Hazelnut / Cerise Price SB as well as the Send Help Dunk SB. These were displayed at the Debacle premier in Los Angeles, the inner padding features a woven brain pattern, look for these to release this Holiday 09 along with the Skate Mental line.
