NIKE SB DUNKS

At the end of this month and beginning of July, the US Nike SB pro skate team is embarking on a whistle-stop demo tour of Europe. The team will start off in London before hitting Paris, Eindhoven and Berlin. See the flyer below for dates, venues and which riders are taking part.

These shoe's wont be most peoples cup of tea, but they are part of skateboard shoe history. Way before Eric Koston's Nike SB or Chad Muska's Supra Skytops, they had pro models on true skate shoe companies. This collection gives tribute to the golden era of skateboard shoes, including the fledgling year's of DC shoes, eS shoes, Axion shoes, Etnies shoes, and Ipath shoes.

The art of skateboarding beyond ones own talent is the creativity to turn any area into something to skate. From the early days of skateboarding and draining pools, to kicking it with your friends hitting slappys on red curbs is proof virtually anything is skateable.

Nike SB's German Team Riders Mark Achmuller, Paco Elles, Max Beinhofer, Lennie Burmeister, Kieron Brodie, Pascal Schmidt and Marc Heine captured some footage for their tour. For more information’s and pictures from this tour check it out in the current issue of Skateboard.

George Condo Collaborated with Supreme to release a series of 3 limited edition decks. Condo has been occupied with investigating the genre of portraiture. He takes inspiration from American caricature, European history portraits as well as Greek mythological figures, often in a dark yet humorous style.

As part of the second season of VBS.tv's Epicly Later'd, Nike SB team rider Brian Anderson has been the focus of a five-part feature. The comprehensive segments, feature a wealth of high-profile guests, have been released over the past few weeks and all five installments are now online.

If its not your neighborhood gangbangers you have to deal with pulling their gun on you while your out with your crew, it's now security guards. The story begins that the guard asked for identification from the skaters (Get Your Kicks crew).

Following the replacement of the Nike SB pop-up store in Slam City Skate's basement with space dedicated to Emerica and Altamont, former editor of the much-missed Document Skateboard Magazine Percy Dean has made a short film about the project. In the film, Slam co-owner Gareth Skewis talks about the shop and why the brands were so suited for a collaboration.
