Voting for The Big Push 2009 closes on 10th December, leaving a week for you to get your votes in for Nike SB. With the number of people using this site (311 on the forums in just the past hour and 2,250 fans in the Facebook group), helping the Nike UK skate team come out top in the public vote is a very real possibility.
The winning team of this year’s contest will win £2,000 to share between its members, but it will also receive a huge boost in terms of exposure. That can only help the brand keep churning out the things that most people care so much about – the shoes.
If you have not done so already, watch the 8.33-minute edit, visit the Nike SB Big Push video blog and then vote for Nike SB on the Big Push site. Or, if you’ve got a spare hour, watch all the teams’ edits, and then vote for Nike SB.

As reported last month, Nike SB was one of the teams taking part in the Big Push 2009, one of the biggest events in the UK skateboarding calendar.
This year teams from Nike SB, Adidas, DC, Etnies, Shiner and Vans took to different areas of the country with a list of spots to visit and tricks to carry out at each one over just four days. Each team received a points score from the competition’s judges but it’s the public vote that will decide the winner.
Each team’s edit can be viewed online on the Big Push site, where you can also vote for your favourite. The Nike team – Jerome Campbell, Tom Harrison, Korahn Gayle, Simon Makela, Mike Wright and Neil Smith – took to the streets and parks of Bristol, Wales and the South West (including a trip to the Bath rugby ground). Cast your vote for the team and help them win £2,000.
